Formal Education & Previous Career
Raised in Charlotte NC, Robin understands the numerous intangible beneﬁts of life in the Lake Norman, Charlotte area with its unmatched weather, culture, and diversity. She attended Charlotte Mecklenburg County Schools, graduating from Independence High School in 1979. Robin was educated at Appalachian State University, receiving a BS in Business & Marketing in 1983. After graduating college, Robin worked in the corporate world for 18 years; for Worldcom Telecommunications (1984 – 1999) as a Regional Sales Manager, then was part owner of US Datacom of Charlotte (1999 – 2001). It was later sold to a larger telecommunication company.
Real Estate Career Begins
In 2001, Robin returned to the Charlotte area, specifically Lake Norman to begin a real estate career. The choice of real estate sales enabled Robin to continue her entrepreneurial desires. Real estate allowed her to run a business while providing services to her clients she had learned and developed in college and her previous sales experience. Using these tools, Robin went on to excel in sales, earning numerous sales awards. From 2002 to 2018, she was consistently a member of the Agent Leadership Council with her previous firm. As a member, Robin was very active in planning community volunteer projects. She also chaired several committees including but not limited to Social, Financial and Education. While teaching classes for all levels of a real estate career, Robin learned to engage the most innovative tools available to Realtors. Robin joined Southern Homes of the Carolinas in Cornelius NC in September 2018.
Between 2002 and October 2018, Robin has worked with 193 Sellers and 190 Buyers for a total of 383 real estate transactions. Her total volume of sales is just under $86,000,000 with an average of 20-25 homes sold per year. Robin’s contacts and lifelong area residency leverage her energy and enthusiasm, enhancing her client dedication and insuring satisfied repeat clients and referrals.
